Dr. Ahmad Rashid has been providing quality podiatry care in Northern New Hampshire since January 2020. Dr. Rashid treats a wide variety of ailments including but not limited to bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, tendon tears, neuromas, trauma, fractures, diabetic foot ulcerations and other lower extremity infections. Before joining podiatry, Dr. Rashid worked as an accountant and has a background in business and healthcare management. He attended podiatry school at Barry University in Miami-Dade, Florida where he made the Dean’s list every semester. Following graduation, Dr. Rashid attended residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He also served as chief resident in his final year, in the largest podiatry residency program in the United States. He is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Rashid believes that no single approach works best for treating every patient. Each patient has their own set of circumstances and unique anatomy. Dr. Rashid’s set of skills along with his willingness to listen to his patients have resulted in many positive outcomes. Having a deep understanding of the human body, Dr. Rashid approaches his patients holistically to achieve the best long-term results.
Aside from working, Dr. Rashid enjoys the great outdoors of New Hampshire. He ascended Mount Washington solo and is currently attempting to climb all of the 4,000 foot mountains of New Hampshire.
